P: Support scalable user interface UI for high resolution monitors

I'm using a high resolution monitor(2560x1600). As a result, all the the toolbar fonts and menu fonts are small and hard to see. I do not want to lower the screen resolution as this would defeat the purpose of this monitor.. Will the new CS6 have the ability to increase font sizes to accommidate Hi-Res monitors?

Btw. I also think it ́s ashaming for Adobe that they don ́t correct that error over years. Because a 200% feature is not really a solution.

This ‘small font size’ has been an ongoing issue now for several years – in Bridge and Photoshop. THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIXED IT.  ADOBE - Rich and careless.

How much squinting do I have to do? (Adobe llustrator font is perfect)

The Photoshop team has been listening to your many requests for better scaling options on Windows, and we’re happy to announce that we are ready for beta testing on this feature. Because of the large scale changes involved in this feature, we want to make sure people have the opportunity to test it out before it’s released.
 
All Windows customers are welcome to join and test, but please note that you will need to have Windows 10 Creators Edition installed in order to use the new continuously scalable user interface and per-monitor scaling. Windows 7, 8 and prior versions of Windows 10 will only support 100% and 200% - as the continuously scalable user interface requires APIs only available in Creators Edition.

So good they are now fixing the small font problem in Photoshop, allthough, I visited https://www.adobeprerelease.com/, there was no Photoshop CSUI Program listed

The program is still there from what I can see. Try heading back to adobeprerelease.com and click Available Programs. 

CSUI is a ways down. For me, the 9th Row, in the left column.  (here's a screenshot)

Thanks for this update. Could you provide instruction on where the UI scalable settings would be? I still only see 100 or 200% selections under Interface/UI scaling. PS: I have creators edition Windows 10

my pc is on 3840 x 2160 on a 4k 28 inch monitor. I have just reinstalled PE9 on a difference drive from the C. I cant see the text and the icons are too small. It was ok before but it had to be moved, as the C is now a super fast M2 drive but only half the size of the previous C.

I recently replaced my old "regular" Sony monitor with a new wide 27 (or 28 if you count the bezel) inch monitor. Large parts of my Photoshop CS3 display are now almost microscopically small, while other parts are fine. But the tiny parts make it essentially impossible to use my Photoshop CS3 on this wide monitor. I need to make Photoshop CS3 properly adapt to the wide 27-inch monitor.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, Adobe CS6 does not offer proper support for high-DPI (Hi-Res) monitors. It doesn’t include a built-in option to scale toolbar or menu fonts, so everything appears small on high-resolution displays.

Workarounds:

Windows users: You can try enabling System DPI scaling:

Right-click the CS6 shortcut → Properties → Compatibility tab.
Check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" (or in newer Windows, use "Change high DPI settings" and select System (Enhanced)).

Mac users: Scaling is limited, and UI elements will remain small unless you use a lower-resolution display mode.

If HiDPI support is important to you, consider upgrading to Adobe Creative Cloud — newer versions have much better scaling support for high-res monitors.
