This is feedback for Adobe, since it offers no direct contact point, other than a less-than-useful chatbot.
I started with PS4, then upgraded to PS5 and PS7. PS7 has been my workhorse for about 20 years, used for photography, artwork, drafting, book figures, and all the patent drawings in 9 granted U.S. patents, starting with 9,401,134 (2016). The only thing I would add to it would be output formats for CNC routers and laser cutters, and versions for current computers. Since my work is proprietary, I want nothing to do with the Cloud. Currently, I've moved my work from a Dell 755 to a 2023 Apple M2 Mac mini, using CrossOver. PS7 runs a bit slow on it, and misses a few tricks, like the right click on the image margin to get "image size". For my current book illustrations I primarily use paths, ruler, guides, fill and line tools, text inserts, level and color balance adjustments, CNTL-T tools to adjust for phone camera misalignment, blur and sharpen tools, image size and rotation, sometime clone stamp to get rid of dust marks, and I forget what else. I keep three copies for my book illustrations: the original camera image; the corrected, cropped & unsized image in PSD; and insert a flattened, reduced-size JPG image into the chapter text. I tend to use JPGs and PNGs for a WordPress site online.
I might be more interested in a $9.99 subscription if it came with the choice of a classic PS7 GUI. I ran the current trial PS and found the GUI unfamiliar. It takes time to learn a new GUI, and my life hasn't got so much left. I also think that Adobe is missing a bet in not selling an inexpensive stand-alone package for current computers, based on PS7, geared towards basic photo edits, accurate drawing tools and CNC-compatible output files.
