Can't zoom in timeline while dragging clip.

I have been zooming while dragging a clip forever using the plus and minus keys. Now all of a sudden it stopped working, I am on premiere 24.0.3 but in this same session it was still working. I also reset my preferences, didn't work.

So I can still drag clips, I can also still zoom in/out using those keys but I would like to do it simultaneously.

I already found a topic about this exact problem from 2019 but the only solution that was offered said that zooming and dragging just shouldn't be done at the same time. I've been doing so for at least 10 years so it seems like it should work!

Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to fix!!

Hi @petrosmarcos - Your original post said 24.0.3 so it's been awhile I apologize that nobody has gotten back to you.  Thank you for confirming version 25.  Can you back up your settings and then try holding down "Shift" while opening premiere and selecting "Reset app preferences".

I've never done that until just now, but it is working in Beta 25.2 b18.

Hello, I have fixed my issue. Seems Premiere Pro needs to restart for some reason and then it works back to normal afterwards. Just a weird bug I guess.

Cool! Easy fix. I turn my machine off every night, and sometime reboot during the day.
