Hi,
I want to report a bug.
Issue: I've updated Premiere Pro 24.6.1 version. I started having problems with the crop effect, it won't apply the zoom option to any video clip or frame, after couple of weeks using it. Premiere started to crash when I wanted to export my videos. It requires that I update my Intel graphics card and reset the preferences and update to the newest version. Anyway, I've tried to update my Intel graphics card without any success, since the driver for my computer model is not available. Plese let me know what I can do.
Adobe Version Number: 24.6.1
Operative System: Windows 10 Home
System Info:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9300H CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz
RAM: 24.0 GB
GPU: Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1650
GPU (PC): Intel UHD graphics 630
Hard drives: toshiba mq04abf100 1 TB HDD
hfm256gdjtng-8310a 256 GB SSD
Video format: HEIC keyframes when exporting the video sequence, and file format when trying to apply the crop effect.
Workflow details: I am working with HEIC and PNG frames of AI animations and mixing them with MPEG files, Premiere Pro crashes when I apply color effects to a HEIC sequence and I try to export it. While the problem with the crop effect happens when I appy it to any file format, it is not able to appy the zoom option.
Steps to reproduce:
Premier pro crashes when:
- I import a HEIC sequence
- Nest the sequence
- Speed/Duration the sequence to10000
- Apply lumetri color effects
- Apply sharpen effect
- Export the sequence
- Premiere Pro Crashes and asks me to update my Intel UHD 630 graphics card, driver which I am not able to find in the ACER website
The crop effect problem started to happen since I updated to the 24.6.1 Premiere Pro version, even if I install older versions. I am still having the same problem.

Hi @defaultgz73o4id4l2y ,
Thanks for providing all this info and I'm sorry you're still having issues. Can you tell me what resolution you're working in? Also if you can provide slightly more info on the video format and codec, that would be great.
I do see you have the Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1650 and Intel UHD graphics 630. These are, unfortunately, on their way to being outdated. In order to use Premiere, there are minimum system requirements, which you can find on the Adobe site here: Minimum Requirements

After installing the 24.5 version I didn't have any problems with the crop effect, unfortunately, whenever I install any version higher thatn the 24.6. The problem starts over, but I cannot keep using the 24.5 version forever. How can I solve the crop effect problem? Can anybody help me?

Hi. I've been using the crop effect to zoom all of the frames of some AI generated animations, which are hundreds. Unfortunately, since the last premiere update. I tired to apply this effect to my generated frames and it doesn't zoom them anymore. I tried to see if it was working on all my other projects, only to find out that the zoom effect of all my animations have not applied the zoom option of the crop effect, so all of my sequences, which are hundreds, are not able to be exported in the required dimensions. What can I do in this case scenario?

Is the Zoom checkbox enabled but having no effect?
While not ideal, what happens if you hide the Crop that is currently applied and then add the Crop effect again at the same settings?

Thanks for the answer, I tried your recommendation, unfortunately, it's not working, the crop effect with the checkbox enabled, even if applied twice is not resizing any of my video clips or frames. I don't know what's wrong with premiere, I rolled back to the previous premiere version, but it didn't help.

Which version numbers of Premiere Pro is this happening with?
And, Global FX Mute is disabled, correct?

The version is 26.4.1, I installed the previous version 26.4 and it also didn't work. The global fx mute is disabled, I've tried disabling and enabling it and unfortunately it didn't work as well. It all started after I installed the latest update. I deleted the cache and reseted the preferences and it didn't work. It is such a weird problem, I cannot find why and how it happened.

Hi @defaultgz73o4id4l2y ,

I do see you have the Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1650 and Intel UHD graphics 630. These are, unfortunately, on their way to being outdated. In order to use Premiere, there are minimum system requirements, which you can find on the Adobe site here: Minimum Requirements
You can also check the manufacturer's website and see what your card is capable of. I believe the GTX 1650 can handle up to 4 GB RAM and is good for HD video editing, but it may not be the best card for editing 4K video, which may require a minimum of 6 GB RAM. I also see the Intel UHD 630 graphics card hasn't had an update since July 2023.
