P: Premiere Pro 25 bug with "undo" and "redo" Set Property

Community Beginner ,

I have a problem with undo and redo commands since I've updated to Premiere Pro 25.00. Whenever I use CMD+Z to undo a step at first nothing happens. But when I use it a second time it does undo as it should. So I always have to double-hit CMD+Z whenever I have to undo a step.

The second problem is that the "redo" command doesn't work. It's also greyed in the "Edit" menu. I realized that when I hit CMD+Z once (and it doesn't work) the "redo" isn't grayed and it's available. But when I hit CMD+Z a second time to undo a step because the first time nothing happened the "redo" becomes grayed.

So basically every time I have to undo a step I must hit the "undo" command twice and I can never redo a step because of that bug. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

OK the problem is definitely Frame.io v4 extension - after removing the "Frame.io comments" extension everything went back to normal

I had to delete the Logitech MX plugins that are installed for the MX mouse. The function of the mouse still works on Premiere, although, I'm not sure if there was something I'm missing. But I had just gotten the mouse a few days prior, and this problem popped up, so I'm almost certain that was the cause

Thanks for the temporary fix, what a terrible extension.

FIX! Close the comment panel and restart Adobe Premiere Pro (Beta or stable).

I'm just commenting to confirm that Uninstalling the FrameIO v4 Comments extension was the fix for me and I'm on a Windows PC using Premiere Pro 25.1. I find it ridiculous that the extension makers just completely ignored that. I noticed a "Set Property" action on my history panel and noticed my undos was taking an extra key press. Not knowing redo doesn't even work. If I click back in time in the history panel. All the actions that I would've been able to "redo" back to just completely disappears. Thanks for the save guys

This "trash layouts" fix works until the next time Premiere crashes. For me this fix lasts several hours.

Still encountering after 25.2 update and deleting the Layouts folder manually. Doing a very simple position move, action not recorded in history and not able to undo. This issue has been occuring with this project since 24.6.5

Seems to be happening inside nests/multicam. Any actions occuring within the nest are not logged inside the history panel

It's not all the time, but sometimes undo does only work when i press cmd+z a few times. At this point redo won't work anymore. Well and as I have to press cmd+z a few time it is easy to miss the state where you want to be. But redo is not possible after that.
