Premiere Pro 24 and 25 Beta crashing on MacOS 26 (Tahoe) beta 2

Upgraded to MacOS26 Beta 2 and Premiere Pro 24/25 beta crash on load. Didn't crash on Beta 1.

I've found a fix! Go to the Font Book app > settings > advanced > reset fonts then restart the MacBook and all apps now working again.

Hi @andrewgrill thanks for letting us know. I've got a Mac where I did a clean install of the Tahoe Beta (1, then upgraded to 2). I'm not seeing any crashes in Premiere Pro 25.3 or Premiere Pro (Beta) 25.4.

 

Are you on an Intel Mac, or an Apple silicon Mac?

 

Do you have any third-party plugins installed? It's possible one of them is part of the issue. Try holding Shift while launching Premiere Pro, then in the Reset Options dialog choosing "Disable third-party plugins (one-time only)" and then

Apple Silicon M3 MacBook Pro. Beta 1 no issues. Did a start with option held down and disabled plugins. Same issue.

I called apple and adobe both telling me since im in the beta they cant help.. and yet.. here you are dropping gems!  this got my photoshop to work again!!!!! thank you!!!!
