When trimming the end of a clip that is followed by filler, and using the '>' key to move the trim point, the selection is deselected after the first click. Trimming the front of a clip preceded by filler doesn't show this behaviour.
When two clips are selcted on different tracks, video or audio, the clip that is followed by filler is deselcted but the one preceded by filler continues to trim which is very frustrating!

Yep, seeing same behavior here, as well. Premiere 23.2.0, Mac 13.2.1.

OMG this is extremely frustrating! I get that too - the most basic thing in editing - ADOBE please address this huge bug ASAP!

Same here, both on my Intel iMac and my M1 Macbook Pro. Just tried Premiere Pro 23.3 and it's not fixed.

Same issue here as original poster. Extremely frustrating. Anyone know if it's fixed yet?
I'm on Prem Pro 23.2.0 (iMac 11.7.6) - will update if this is fixed.
