Adding An Estimated Time To complete Render(s) to Adobe Media Encoder

Didn't find anywhere to post this,,

I was wondering if it is possible to have a countdown of every entry in AME and one Global Countdown to finish all renders?

I am leaving the PC while it's doing the renders and would like to approximate by number the time to come back.

I handle very large files and multiples of them, so this would be really convenient.

Thanks,

Premiere Pro calculates the time remaining for the current render based on current speed of progress, and even that can be wildly inaccurate.  When export hits a heavy effect, for instance, estimated times will increase dramatically, and then go back down after that difficult clip is done.  There'd be no way to even make a guess at exports not yet in progress.

I just don't think what you want here is possible.  There are too many variables for even a guess to be useful.

well, while this is true in some sceneraios, there are others where render time estimated can be pretty acurate.

As a example my workflow in Final Cut involves several default effects and transitions, but also third party plugins, and the estimated time in Compressor is super acurate.

If it says 13 hours, it will be 13 hours.

(Compressor neither calculates estimated time for a batch of renders, just the current one)
