@Paulo Barbagli,

Your actual request, reducing the space between the subtitle track and the video tracks, is best accomplished by dragging the Audio/Video divider up to REDUCE the amount of space given to the video tracks. This reduces the space between the subtitles and video track.

But your response to Marek suggests that you have the issue that bothers many users: increasing the amount of space allocated to the caption tracks.

The biggest issue is that the caption tracks are limited to

Make your Timeline panel shorter or increase the size of the Video tracks to make them touch the Subtitles track.

That's the only solution, I'm afraid, because the Subtitle track always sits on the top of the Timeline and as such (as far as I'm aware) cannot be moved.

The biggest issue is that the caption tracks are limited to no more than 25% of the timeline panel area. You CAN increase the caption track area, and increase the relative size of individual or all caption tracks, but only within that 25% limit.

See my post here to upvote a feature request and for more information on adjusting tracks:

This changed some when multiple caption tracks were enabled, but not much.

If the suggestions there don't improve what you see, post back and we'll help further.

Thank you all for helping me. The 25% limit is the problem. Working on subtitles could be easier removing it, considering you will need only 1 video track and many subtitle tracks. Maybe in the future!
