Adobe Premiere Pro 13.1

My windows just did an update and not I can not get my adobe premiere profile files to load and render on  2 different PC's  The software seems to be dead in the water with the latest update from windows please help.  I am seeing a 12 minute video Taking  30 minutes render to load the video into the preview video and this PC is a to solid state disk drive pentium 7 loaded to the hills with RAM  This is sickening, horrible. Adobe you need to look into this

John other applications are working fine. It is the rendering video files that have been previosly designed in premiere editing files, other applications are woring find photoshop etc....

You said the problem started with a Windows update, so the problem is due to something that Windows changed, not something that Adobe did

If resetting the Premiere Pro preferences does not fix the problem, you may need to uninstall and reinstall to try and fix what Microsoft broke

I will unistall and re-install adobe premeiere now.

As far as I know from reading other messages, a reinstall does not remove the preferences file

Wow, I am like shocked at how bad premiere is working now. With a re-install on my 2019 Dell Solid state pentium 7. I can not even multiple task by uploading 3 small premiere files into the editor to try to get them to render. If I want to to editing I literally have to start from stratch.

There are a number of things that can go wrong. I would start by being more specific: what specific dot version of PR? when you say 13.1, do you mean 13.1.0? The latest is 13.1.5.

What windows update? 

I have 2 installs; neither is experiencing the problems you describe. One one, I am running PR 13.1.0 on Windows major version 1903, OS build 18362.418. The other is PR 13.1.5 with 1903, but OS build 18362.388. It has an update that will install with the next restart, I suspect to go to 418.

If you have not, restart you computer, reset PR preferences, then create a brand new project and create a bars and tones, make a sequence and test. Then add a known good file and see if that works.
