Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017.0 has stopped working??

I'm receiving the error "Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017.0 has stopped working." from Windows 10 when attempting to boot Premiere Pro. Dead in the water, need some help! I've tried uninstalling and downgrading to 3 previous versions and receive the same error every time.

Please check for error messages related to Premiere Pro in Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application & post the summary in General Tab(Please do not post complete log in details tab.

Hi BZ1LLA,

Try the following steps:

  • Update drivers to latest version for all the Graphics Cards.

If issue persists,

  • If Anti-Virus is installed, disable Anti-Virus & try launching Premiere Pro.

Hello.

     I'm having the same problems this person is having, and I've followed your steps. I've updated my graphics cards and turned off my anti virus and i still get the same error message

Funny name Vidya, Video?

The exact dot version of PP is already given in the logs linked. Windows 10 has auto-updates so it will always be the most up to date version. Please do not post what a 12 year old could do, "have you updated your drivers and disable anti-virus". LOL support desks were saying this cannard back in the 1990s. We expect better from a company that sells software labelled "Pro" version and charges money.

I have asked Szymonk for the Premiere Pro version number, I believe he did not provide us the logs to find the version number. As you can see there are three customers using different Premiere Pro versions in this very forum thread. We need the information for documentation purposes.

LOL, it's part of the troubleshooting steps we have to follow as we still get customers who do not update drivers and disable anti-virus. Not everyone who uses Premiere Pro is as technically sound as you. Please understand.
