adobe premiere pro cc2017 hangs for a while when import .psd file

Hi. I am using adobe premiere and adobe photoshop cc2017. I am facing a problem when I import the .psd file to the adobe premiere timeline, adobe premiere hangs for 15 to 20 seconds and then processes it accordingly. I tried different methods like "drag and drop directly to the premiere pro timeline" "import to the bin", or directly drag and drop to the bin but the problem still exists. this is a very annoying stage for me when I working in flow and suddenly it stops working for 20 seconds. please anyone help to solve this problem.

it also depends on the photoshop file size. I tried to upgrade the graphics card but the problem still exists

Sorry. If you have an NVIDIA GPU, try rolling back the drivers to v.517. xx. That may help.

Thanks for the system details. Have you had any trouble with these PSD files in the past? Is it possible to share a sample file with us? It is best to have graphic files at no more than twice the size of your sequence settings. Can you check that?
