After clicking in to a nested seq, any way to go back to original?

CC2018 on Mac tower.

I work a bunch with nested sequences. In my timeline I double click to go into a nested sequence, adjust something and then I want I want to go back to my original sequence. Is there a way to do this easily? My timeline has a bunch of tabs open ( a lot of them are nested sequences), so it's sometimes hard to find my original one. I usually have to go back to my project window and double-click it.

A couple of features that would be handy:

1. A "open last sequence" hotkey

2. Color coded tabs in your timeline.

3. Ability to lock tabs so when you "close other timelines" it stays.

Another option is to click on the 3 bars icon on your "Program" monitor and choose your edit from the dropdown menu.

Thanks Mike, yea I've worked that route but again I'm looking at a list of 20 sequences. I'm just surprised there isn't an easier way to do this. One double click and you're in. One hotkey and you're back out.

Hey there, Silly Rabbit!

Those are awesome ideas and I wish Premiere had those features as well. Super handy. Would you mind going here to our UserVoice and leaving them as feature requests? Our engineers check these pages regularly to know what to work on.
