To replicate:
1. Imported two 4K MP4 files
2. Created new sequence on timeline based on one of the imported MP4 files
3. Dragged the 2nd MP4 file onto the timeline
4. Trimmed front/end's of both
5. Moved 2nd segment Video/Audio up to V2 track and dragged them over/above V1
5. Hit Playback (spacebar) and the audio played but the video stayed "fixed" in position
6. Stopped playback and hit "Edit" from the main menu and that's when I got application hang

Hi Rob,
Sorry for the issue. Are these QuickTime wrapped files? If so, check this doc: Dropped support for Quicktime 7 era formats and codecs
Thanks,

Kevin,
I upgraded PP to 12.1.1.10 and this specific problem has not recurred. However, I still have plenty of other problems as I've outline in my other threads/questions.
Rob.
