Yo. Thanks for checking in. So the deal is, I'd like the ability to automatically edit my video based on silences in the audio. Specifically, I want to bump up the rate during silences to tighten the timing in certain spots and it would save hours to be able to push a button and do it.
If you know of anything like this, please discuss below.

Some DAWs have a ‘strip silence’ feature. Not sure if Audition has it, but you really need it in a picture editor.
You could make a feature request request at adobe.com/go/wish for this:
Strip Silence:
How it would work-
Analysis of clip(s) where audio drops below a set level (similar controls as for gating: threshold, attack/release/hold). Edits are added where the audio level drops below the threshold, with options to ‘lift’ or ‘ripple delete’ the silent portions, with or without transitions.
