Hello,
I'm new to editing and I'm wondering can I edit an already existing video I import into Adobe? I would like to polish up a short film I wrote that someone else already edited for me. For example I would like to change title ( super) on one scene. I would like to slow down a moment in another scene. And I would like to add more titles in one scene. I tried to do the other day but couldn't. I imported the short film and I could add things to it but I couldn't cut anything out of it, like the things I listed above. So I'm coming to all of you to see if it's possible to change scenes from an already edited film.
I would hate to restart the editing process all over again because I can't receive any more changes from the editor.
Thanks

Only if you have the original project file and not an exported video, and if it was made with the same software, depending upon the version, yes. Otherwise, you can't modify edits, only add them.
