Can't see anchor point

I've selected my clip. Then In Effect Controls I highlight the 'Motion' bar, and I see the bounding box but no anchor point. (Pro 2024 on Win 10). Thanks!

You may want to go to position in the Effect Controls window and click the curved reset arrow. This should move the image so that the anchor point is in the center of the image.

But I want to set the anchor point somewhere beside the middle. BTW, just to get a rough idea where to look for the anchor point, I've twiddled the rotate angle to see where the current anchor point is. No anchor point icon there that I can see!

Have you clicked and held, inside the element on the program monitor?

Ahhh, just "hovering" over the clip brought up the anchor point?
