I have the latest version of premiere pro as of 15th October 2019 and it seems the option to capture DV footage has been removed. I wonder if anyone knows if this is a bug or if this feature is gone for good.

I'm using the same camera. I just received it from a friend of mine. I was very excited, but can't capture the footage. Are you using firewire to thunderbolt adapters with yours, or do you have a firewire card?

I had the same issue.
I ended up capturing in iMovie and then importing the files to premiere.

How did you manage to do that? My DV camera doesn't appear in iMovie (or Final Cut Pro)
