I am a complete beginner to Adobe Premiere. I would like to take an existing video clip and have corresponding English and French audio play as completely separate Left and Right channels. (i.e. French audio in the left headphone and English audio in the right). The reason being is that the audio will be controlled by a hardwired left/right rocker switch.
I would use a standard stereo sequence and using the track mixer pan left one language and pan right the other. Any audio that needs to be on both, music or effects, can be panned to the centre. Just export a standard stereo video file.
