Hey guys! please help! if someone know this! when i configure an video to export on adobe premiere, shows me 5GB file size for example, then when i queue it to adobe media encoder, when finishes the file size is double, like 10gb. Someone know how can i make adobe premiere and media encoder have similar file sizes when export? sorry about my english! thanks!!
O.k! 🙂
The numbers you see is just an estimate and not an absolute, always 100% correct result, as Neil points out.
Those numbers have been way off for decades, so it´s best to just ignore them and forget about them since they never are really near to a real life result.
If you hit the Export button instead of Queue the actual file size of the exported file will be more or less the same.
......when i export here its close from the estimate size file, but if i queue it to media encoder,

Please give an example and settings used so we can test. 🙂

Like Averdahl requests, we'd need to know your sequence framesize and the precise settings you're using in the export.
I would note, those numbers are estimates, and in my experience, are not necessarily close. Especially if you're using two-pass encoding of H.264, that can change significantly after the analyzing process completes ... which is the first pass of two-pass encoding.

Hey! @Averdahl @R Neil Haugen Thank you for your answers! so, its h264 match source medium bitrate, when i export here its close from the estimate size file, but if i queue it to media encoder, ends up being a bigger file than this, and i dont know why because media encoder should copy this same settings to export in theory
