Whilst the actual dialogue has been broken since CC2015.4, it has got worse since CC2017.
The screenshot below is what appears trying to render a simple stereo file, where it had opened the dialogue to PCM and I changed it to Dolby Digital - notice the parameter names missing altogether and also notice the output is apparently going to be 5.1 even though the dialogue is clearly set to stereo 2/0
Closing and reloading the export media option made no difference whatsoever. I should also mention that the system here is a stereo only one and no projects have ever been configured as 5.1 on this machine. (My 5.1 system is a very different rig altogether)
After closing PPro and then re-launching it, we go again to the export media dialogue and this time things are a little different:
This timne the output is correctly set to Stereo - but the dialogues are all still not written in the export dialogue.
This is actually worse in CC2017 than in CC2015.4 - I am still mid-project on the 5.1 system, so have not yet updated. On that system again the Dolby Digital dialogue parameters are not there, but sometimes closing & re opening the dialogue will make them appear.
This makes getting the correct parameters set for a 5.1 mix next to impossible in CC2017 unless you have memorized all the check boxes from earlier versions.

Hi Neil. Good find.
I assume the dvd will be 'burned' other then Encore.
Because I remember you telling let Encore handle the Dolby.

I have tested with a stereo sequence and a 5.1 sequence and all seems as expected, all the dialogues and check boxes are showing.

Looks normal for me, too.
