Would anybody know anything about downloading Apple ProRes 422 presets into premier, so you can actually use them in a project as a sequence setting?

I can download them here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=5411&fileID=5030

But I don't know how to actually get them into premiere?

The files you have downloaded are only relevant to CS6. If you are in fact using an older CS6 version of Adobe Media Encoder then:

1. Download and Unzip desired preset packages

2. Launch AME

3. In Preset Browser panel, click on Import Presets button and select desired (extracted) presets

Hi Amandajenkins369,

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

Please click on file>new>sequence and click on settings panel.

Change the editing mode to custom and change the preview file format to Quicktime and change

the codec to Apple pro res 422.

Thanks

I just was having this same issue and I think you solved it! Thank you. I did download the PR422 presets for Premier as well, and am wondering if I need to put them in a particular folder. Any recommendations? Thank you!!

Unfortunately there's currently no way to EXPORT ProRes from Premiere on Windows without a 3rd party app.

Premiere on Windows only supports READING ProRes files.
