Dynamically insert names into video?

Can someone point me in the right direction? My company wants to send milestone/anniversary messages to employees automatically. Would like to pull names from a database to insert into a video message to personalize it for each person, delivered via link in email. I work with After Effects and Premiere, so can create a video message, but am lost when it comes to dynamically inserting the names or other information.

Thanks

Obviously you are not looking for a way to create 60.000 videos, but for a way to have a name tag dynamically appearing in a predefined area of a single video... this is not a video related task, but a dynamic scripting task. You would have to start looking for answers in programs such as Adobe Animate or Dreamweaver, is my best guess.

Hope this helps.

Steven,

Hi! In addition to BC's article, this link should help a lot. Jan Ozer knows his stuff: https://www.streamingmedia.com/Producer/Articles/ReadArticle.aspx?ArticleID=130721&PageNum=1

Thank You,
Kevin

Depending on what workflow you are more comfortable with, I'd also recommend taking a look at Dataclay's After Effects Templater. It takes a bit of time to learn the first time, but it is an AWESOME piece of software.

This is really cool stuff, thanks!  Now I realize that this method means creating a new video file for every person, in our case would be about 60,000 files. May need to rethink this plan!
