I've uploaded media files to dropbox.  How do I edit these in a premiere project?

rmartin,

Transfer the media files to your media drive. Then import them for the edit.

Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin, thanks for the comment.

I am wondering what others are doing. The process of flying in and out of the clouds for me has been very time consuming, and much easier ways of collaborating seem to exist, e.g., in my case, just getting external drives to my collaborator.
