Effects on a Nested Sequence Affect the Contents

Hello, I make videos with subtitles, I came across this issue, where if I want to Nest all of the subtitles (that have their pop-up animations) and put a Shake effect on the nested sequence to make it float around, it messes up the animations of the subtitles that are inside of the nested sequence.

My only fix was to export the subtitles as a transparent video and put it back to the previous video, but it's too complicated.

Any ideas?

That's a Sapphire plugin effect? I assume that the under-the-hood shake method is animating some of the same parameters you are using for your text animation.

What method are you using for the pop-up?

Hey Stan,

I use the 'Transform' effect to make the pop-up using scale + opacity; and 'Gaussian Blur' with horizontal direction for the starting blur.
