At 4 min and 12 seconds I have the dissolve on V4 starting with:

V4- BCC Primate Studio, Lumentri Color

V3- is just Mpg 4 (I encoded out from video with speed reduction of 30%, was choppy)

V2-Quick time video with Alpha rendered out of After Effects

V1- Jpeg plate

I can not render past this spot, when I did manage a QuickTime encoding I still got a flickering dissolve transition. Any idea why Adobe Encoder is failing?

More testing taking off the dissolve worked once but not again. I created a new timeline and put the clips on it again and when I added a mask to Primatte that's when I got the render error. Mask was added to Opacity.
only added mask to clip with Primatte.jpg

Answer: Adobe phone support dumped my cache and that seemed to have worked. She also turned off GPU in project but I don't think that was what the problem was.
