Hi everyone,

A few days ago, a updated my Premiere Pro CC (2015.3)

Before this update my Premiere and my project worked well !

Now, I have an error when i want to export my sequence.

This message comes directly after lauching the export.

ERROR.png

I've tested different solutions (other formats, import my sequence into a new project, reinitialised my presets, render, doesn't work with Media Encoder ...)

I dont' see this problem anywhere... Maybe someone can help me ?

Thank you !

Alright, so I'm new to this Adobe Premiere world, but this problem was totally terrible. I'm not sure if this will work for the rest of you, but I tried almost everything I saw here & it still didn't work for me.

Want to know what DID work though?

I changed the name of the project file to not include any symbols like - or / and voila! It worked.

Stupid, haha but praise God! Hope it helps!

On encoding a timeline edit to WMV, I too have just had the dreaded Error code 6 out of Media Encoder CC 2018, version 12.12 (build 69).

However, Premiere Pro CC 2018, version 12.12 (build 69) exported the same Timeline direct to file without any issues at all.

In short: Adobe Media Encoder is a piece of junk if it can not perform the exact same Timeline that Premiere Pro is happy to export out directly.

Please fix.
Thank you
Mads

1) You go to File > Convert Premiere Clip Project > Save to Desktop

2) Then you export your video into Desktop also(same destination)

3) Done and solved! it worked for me

I just had this issue. It turns out that illegal characters in the title of the project or the export sequence are the cause, and you just have to change it to something without slashes, dashes, etc.

الحل في تغيير اسم المجلد المحتوي على ملفاتك، و تغيير اسم الصور و الملفات الصوتية، عندها يعمل بنجاح، الحمد لله.
