Hello!
I am working on a Apple M1 Pro, 32GB Ram, OS 14.6.1. Premiere pro 24.5.
I am getting an error about retriving frames on some multicam interview clips that have in my timeline and when I export I'm getting mad gliches as well. Media encoder always fails to export these so I have to do each individual episode manuelly in Premiere. I tried digging around for a solution and everyone is saying to toggle Video rendering and playback but that is greyed out for me. Please let me know what my options are to stop getting glitches on my timeline from frame substittion im guessing?
Hi @Parnika33850194cehd - We just released an update in beta that is a potential fix for these frame recursion errors. Can you try downloading 25.0.0 build 29 or later and see if that helps your issue? You can find it in the Creative Cloud desktop app in the sidebar labeled beta apps.
Version 25 is part of our next major release so it is not backwards compatible to 24, but it would be good to know if this version helps your issue. Thank You!

What type of media are you working with? You can right click your clip and select "Media File Properties" Can you post a screenshot. Have you tried holding down "SHIFT" when opening premiere and select the checkbox reset media cache? Please see pinned post for checking the beta where we have made some updates for a potential fix with the frame recursion errors.

I flattened my multicam interview clips as thats where the glitches appear in the render the most. They have reduced significantlye but are still present. Has anyon encountered this before?

Hi @Parnika33850194cehd - If you go to Settings > Media > uncheck "Enable Hardware accelerated decoding" and "Enable ProRes hardware accelerated encoding". Then restart your project. Do you still see the glitches?

This error happened to me, but this fix solved the problem (Apple M2 Ultra, Sequoia 15) : Settings > Media > uncheck "Enable Hardware accelerated decoding" and "Enable ProRes hardware accelerated encoding".

Hi @Parnika33850194cehd - Checking in, can you try one thing for me on the latest version of Premiere? Please try exporting with Switching to 2-pass VBR, or CBR resolves the issue?
