Exporting non-Interleaved audio

Explorer ,
Mar 04, 2021 Mar 04, 2021

Hi,

I was trying to export a video in ProRes422(HQ) .mov for a client (Broadcast Company).

At first I wrap the audio like this (one 5.1 and two stereo streams here):

But then he said he want the audio in non-interleaved format,

Then I export in this way (every audio tracks in mono):

But I still fail to meet his expectation.

I was wondering am I having some basic misunderstanding with the concept of "interleaved audio".
Can somebody help me out I'll really appreciate it thanks 😄

Hello @FutureX5,

What difficulties are you facing in exporting audio in this fashion? As I understand it, a non-interleaved audio file is always two files, one for L, the other for R. Is that right? I think the community might need more information to go on. Perhaps @PaulMurphy might know more details. I hope we can help you.

Thanks,
Kevin

Try using the same settings in the screenshot above (with each channel set to Mono), but underneath the Audio Channel Configuration, tick Discrete instead of Mono.
