extreme distortion with linked compositions

Hi,

I'm currently working on a project that has a lot of linked comps to AE (mainly title animations). Quite often when I have to modify something (edit original...) in AE and than go back to PP the clip is extremely distorted ) upside down / stripes etc...

This sometimes is also the case when rendering out from AE overwriting the exsisting file. Since the files  are good when opening them outsinde PP I assume there must be a conflict during the import into PP. Any ideas / solutions?

Thanks a lot

Hi morrismedia,

We’re so sorry to hear about the Dynamic Link issue. Is this happening with all projects? Create a new project and check if the issue persists in it.

Do you mind sharing screenshots of the issue for investigation?

Thanks,

Vidya

Hi Vidya,

this happend to various projects - new and existing. It seems to be a problem that PPro has re-importing an overwritten file. I've attached a typical screenshot to show you what I mean.

Best
