FIXED: Export issue for H.264 and HEVC with Premiere Pro 23.1

This issue has been fixed in Premiere Pro version 23.2.  Please update to get the fix.
 
We have identified a file name issue affecting H.264 and HEVC/H.265 exports on Windows with Premiere Pro 23.1
 
The issue impacts H.264 and HEVC/H.265 exports to folders with names that use double-byte characters, such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or extended ASCII characters, like accents and umlauts. Affected users will see this message: File importer detected an inconsistency in the file structure of %filename.mp4%. Reading and writing this file’s metadata (XMP) has been disabled.
 
If you are experiencing this issue, use one of these options:
  • Please update to version 23.2 where the issue is fixed
  • The following workarounds are for 23.1
    • Choose an export destination folder that uses only single-byte ASCII English characters (no accents, umlauts, etc.)
    • Export to a different format, such as Apple ProRes.
    • For H.264 exports only: disable hardware-accelerated encoding.

I'm pleased to announce that Premiere Pro version 23.2 has just been released with a fix for this issue and some other nice features.  Please update to get the fix.

Buenas, desde hace unos dias que estoy experimentando un error que dice "el programa de importación de archivos ha detectado una inchoerencia" después de que termina de exportar y no me deja visualizar el video finalizado. Nose que hacer para que funcione, si alguien me pudiera ayudar lo agradeceria mucho.

Adjunto pantallazos del error.

J'effectue mes montages vidéo sur première pro sur ce même ordianteur depuis des mois maintenant et je n'avais pas encore rencontré ce problème.

Une fois mon montage terminé : vidéo + son + texte ; je vais exporter comme à mon habitude en reproduisant exactement les mêmes réglages, l'exportation commence ... Elle progresse mais ARRIVEE A 100%, un message d'erreur s'affiche : l’importation de fichiers a détecté une incohérence dans la structure de fichier de la lecture et l’écriture des métadonnées (XMP) de ce fichier ont été désactivées. avec en bas à droite un triangle jaune avec un point d'exclamation. Je click dessus : il me montre des erreurs detecté lors de l'exportation MAIS il ne me donne pas d'indication sur le fichier en question ? est ce une piste audio ? une vidéo ? ... J'ai essayé de supprimer certaine séquence audio ou vidéo mais procéder par elimination est elle vraiment la meilleur solution ?

Avez vous déjà rencontrer mon problème ? si oui, pouvez vous m'aiguiller sur les démarches à effectué. Merci

Hi,

 

I am struggling with export as I usually did, we use external hard disks LaCie 16tb & 8tb for storage data, projetcs, export,etc..

I did some tests and find out that when I am exporting h264 video to external disk from media encoder it export with warnings.

 

"File importer detected an inconsistency in the file structure of (NAME_OF_VIDEO).mp4. Reading and writing this file's metadata (XMP) has been disabled.

Adobe Media Encoder
Could not write XMP data in output file."

and exported media is about 256kb size, not playable.

 

But, when I choose different export location as DATA (C:) there is no problem with exporting. 

 

NEEED HELP. 

 

There is no problem with free space at disks (disks both have about 6TB free space) and video is about 80mb size.

-media cache cleaned allready

- make media offline and relinked them - doesnt helped.

-running on win 10pro, good config.

Bonjour,

J'ai monté 40 vidéos dans le week-end sans aucun soucis.

Pour les 4 dernieres vidéos l'export de la vidéo bug. 

J'ai le message d'erreur avec écrit : L'importateur de fichiers a detecté une incohérence dans la structure de fichier nomd du fichier.mp4. La lecture des métadonées ( XMP) de ce fichier ont été désactivées."

 

Mon espace disuqe libre est de 4To5. J'ai essayé une réinstallation logiciel. 

Rien n'a fonctionné...

Bonjour, Saruproduction,

Thank you for the added info. It's helpful. I have an odd request. Can you try exporting your file using an English title and saving it to a folder with an English name? Other non-English speakers are experiencing this weird bug. Give it a try.

 

The latest drivers are working (527.56 ), so you can also try these if you have an NVIDIA GPU.

 

I hope the dev team can help solve this issue soon.

effectivement en mettant le titre en Anglais à la racine du disque dur ca fonctionne... vraiment étrange cette mise à jour

mais j'ai perdu 1 nuit pour mon envoi de vidéo et je me suis fait taper sur les doigts par mon producteur...

Franchement Adobi je commenceà en avoir marre..

Hey Sam,

One possible thing to check is the permissions of your Preferences folder. You can reset that for problems like this. The info is here. You may want to check this out between versions of Premiere Pro and of the OS.
