I am editing a documentary style project in premiere with a lot of archival footage from the internet and some shots I took from my iPhone, but they keep appearing as blurry on my timeline as well as when I export. I have changed the playback rate to full and have rendered multiple times but I can not figure out why everything is still blurry and not fully clear like it is on my phone or online. This never used to be an issue in the past, but now all of a sudden it has been doing it for the past month or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here are my current sequence settings. I guess I'm not sure which ones would be beneficial for footage I got from youtube and from my iphone. It wouldn't let me access my source settings for some reason.Screen Shot 2019-11-30 at 11.04.52 AM.png

640 X 360 is lower resolution than SD.  If you are viewing it on a large 1920 X 1080 minitor, it likely will be blurry.

Why did you use such a small sequence size?

It's just the default one I think. I'm on a 15-inch Macbook Pro, so what do you recommend would be the right frame size? Sorry if this is an easy fix. I'm not the most advanced with Premiere Pro.

The best thing is to set those dimensions to the size of the clips or the size of the viewing screen you want.

For instance

 720p  = 1280 x 720 (hd)

1080p = 1920 x 1080 (full hd)

Standard Definition

720 × 480i or 720 × 576i

But if your clips are really tiny like as your sequence settings, the footage will become more and more blury as they size increase of your export, and the resolution of the TV/Screen you are viewing on...
