5. Choose a Relevant Topic Label

Screenshot 2024-04-02 at 3.16.20 PM.pngChoosing the most relevant "topic label" for your post is helpful. Here are guidelines for topic labels. Selecting the appropriate topic to label your post helps others find it.

Experiment: For Internal use.

Export: For export questions.

Performance: For questions about slow behavior in the user interface.

Crash: For questions about the application crashing.

Screenshot 2024-04-02 at 2.41.04 PM.pngYou can drag or browse files to attach at the bottom of the post if you would like.

Tips for Quicker Resolution

  • Download the freeware app MediaInfo to ascertain specifics about your movie file. Screenshot the file in "Tree View" for complete details.
  • Please review system requirements before filing a bug or troubleshooting report.
  • Gather upvotes for your issue from colleagues and contacts here on the forums to gain more traction. Upvotes are located in the upper right of each post.
  • Please provide the desired format for the information you share. For example, see: How do I write a bug report?

Note on Adobe Staffing of these Forums: The Discussions forum is a user-to-user forum with limited staffing by Adobe. While the development team monitors Bugs and Ideas, they can't reply to every report. Sorry about that.

Note on Posts and Adobe Assisted Support: A discussion post, bug report, or idea created in these forums does not automatically elicit an internal ticket for support for any issue. Please contact Adobe Assisted Support to do so.

To contact Adobe Assisted Support for digital video issues, begin the process via chat. To get a chat going as quickly as possible, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Adobe account at adobe.com. Allow popups and cookies on your browser. You may be unable to see the chat window using a VPN.
  2. Click here. This will automatically open the chat window.
  3. Type "Agent" in the chat box to be connected to a live agent.
  4. When you get an agent, ask to be connected to the "video queue." These agents are specially trained to handle digital video and audio issues. These agents will help you set up a support phone call with these agents upon request.

Let me know if you have any questions about support and these forums. I hope I can help you.
