How do I edit the font of multiple captions at once in the new "properties" panel in Adobe Premier?

The new update for Premier Pro removed the "Essential Graphics" tab and replaced it with the "Properties" and "Graphics Templates" tabs. I am trying to change the font and size of the generated captions and the minimal literature I found says that is done in the "Properties" tab now; however, all it says is "Multiple clips selected" and won't let me change anything. I've looked for a solution everywhere, but this is a new update and there isn't much information.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

It won't show these options if you have other media types included in your selection, like video clips or even graphics clips. Make sure you select only the captions, and it should give you the option to change the font for all of them.

It doesn't for captions. Even just selecting a single caption doesn't allow you to change text properties. It just directs you back to the Text pannel.

I had to restart Premiere and I was finally able to edit caption appearance in the Properties pannel. Still a very frustrating experience.
