I installed CC aps and uninstalled CS6 apps. Apparently Encore was unistalled with Premiere CS6. I now have no option to install Premiere CS6. How do I get Encore?
1st, the serial number version of PPro CS6 is on the 2nd page at http://www.adobe.com/products/catalog/cs6._sl_id-contentfilter_sl_catalog_sl_software_sl_creativesuite6.html?promoid=KFPMZ
2nd, you are SUPPOSED to be able to install CS6 from the Cloud, per http://blogs.adobe.com/davtechtable/
3rd, an Encore alternative http://www.deskshare.com/dvd-authoring-burning-software.aspx

Here is transcript from support.
After I post I will try it 'cause I deleted all of CS6 and ran cleaner.
Richa: Rick, what you can do is, you can go to creative.adobe.comRicha:
and then click on download center
Richa: Click on Premiere pro
Richa: On this page , you will be able to choose CS6 instead of Premiere pro CC
Richa: Check the part where the features are mentioned, on the left of that you
will be able to choose Premiere pro CS6 Richa:
Once you install Premiere pro, you will get the Encore CS6

The instructions Adobe Support gave me worked for me. I now have Encore back as well as all of the library
content. Yes, it certainly was a hassle, but at least everything has been restored.
I will probably leave PP-CS6, though I am tempted to delete it.
I won't repeat this on my Apple.

This is an old thread. If you are unable to install Encore or get it to work, start a new thread and we will help you.
The current Cloud desktop is a little different from the image posted in this thread. but this link is still current.

Thank you.
1st link provided the information to get Premiere CS6 installed. I may well be looking for alternatives to Adobe products in the future. Encore is gone, Fireworks is gone and Server Behavoirs in Dreamweaver are one step from being gone...hidden in the "disabled features."

Yes, there is a dropdown menu in the Premiere page of Creative Cloud with a download link to CS6.

If there is no Encore, then how the hell are we suppose to make dvd? I'm this far from droping CC because of this!

I know it sucks. Maybe you can get stand-alone Encore CS6 still available.

The thread that we are in is more confusing than some for the "how to" get Encore CS6 whether you are CS6 or CC.
See this link, which includes how to install Encore CS6, how to get the library, and a tutorial on workflow with Premiere CC.

I had the same problem - sorry if this post is answering an old question - it took me ages to find the answer and I nearly rang a US customer service centre from the UK!
Using Application Manager (or Creative Cloud as its now called), go to Apps and highlight Premiere Pro CC - click "More Info" below the logo; on the webpage you're directed to, under the title "In This Version", there's a drop-down menu, which gives you the option to install Premiere Pro CS6 Family (including Encoder & Encore)! Select this and the download button, top right, says Download Premiere Pro CS6. This version also then opens in Application Manager. Hope this works for you. I can't help thinking though, that this option may be phased out, but I'll want to know there's a sure-fire alternative to Encore for my subscription, before I change versions.

Yes, that is the best single link; same one as appears in post 30. Let us know if you have any problems.

This no longer works if you use adobe creative cloud memberships.
I think I am going to cancel and go back to avid.
This experice sucked.
the only thing that came out of it was a hasle and a headache.
Thank you adobe for ruining the local media producers once again.
I knew when I was told to avoid the switch I should have.
I want to swear at them right now..but I am still paying for this crap for a year.
Thanks

I'm not sure what you are referring to. You can install Encore CS6 with a cloud subscription.
Check the cancellation policy; I do not know, but previously there was a 30 day money back option. Is there not a 30 days cancellation option?

Adobe, you have to fix this NOW. Either add Encore to Premiere CC or make CS6 downloadable via the cloud. Otherwise I have to give up my subscription and go somewhere else. You are really screwing me right now. I logged in to create 20 blu-ray discs for a client and just now found out there is no Encore with CC. If I had known that I would have never upgraded to CC and uninstalled CS6. Stupid move that needs to get fixed in the next 24 hours.
UPDATE: After an hour of searching I was able to figure out how to reinstall CS6 through the creative cloud. I'm uninstalling Premiere CC. Adobe, I hope you rethink the Encore situation. All streaming online may be the future in 10 years or so but Blu-Ray and DVD's are still a big part of the professional production game and you alienating all of us like this will force most of us to go elsewhere. I was an Apple FCP7 user who switched to Adobe because of Apple's monumental screwup with FCP X. Now you're making some of the same mistakes with CC. I hope you quickley realize the mistakes you're making and work to correct them FAST.
Sincerely,
SVP Media

Certainly understand your frustration, and glad you sorted out how to install Encore CS6 under a cloud subscription.
In case it was not clear, you do not not need to uninstall Premiere CC to use Encore CS6.

I realize this conversation is 18 months old, but can anyone verify that you actually still can get encore? Please don't refer me to the same link - the "Previous Version" trick no longer works, at least not for me: there is no Premiere CS6 that shows up, and therefore no Encore. Any ideas?

When you see so few options in the cloud desktop, it is a sign you need to sign out and back in. If that doesn't work, there is a link I can't find at the moment to get it back in order.

I only subscribed to Premiere Pro CC. I do not have a Creative Cloud membership. Does this mean I cannot download CS6 and that the only way to get Encore would be to start a creative cloud membership or to buy CS6?
Is it possible to get encore with only a 1 application subscription to Premiere Pro CC?

I do not know for sure, but this came up before, and I believe you are entitled to it.
The easiest way is to see...
First, any subscription gives you a cloud membership. Do you have the cloud desktop application in your hidden icons on the task bar?
Just select it, then see the following:
This is the link for info re using Encore CS6 with CC, updated for CC 2014 and the cloud desktop install.
http://helpx.adobe.com/encore/kb/encore-cs6-installed-cc.html
It has links for getting the library (which is not installed with Encore) and a workflow with CC versions.
In the cloud desktop, assuming you have PR CC 2014 installed, you are looking for this:

All CS6 software is available via the CC , you have an option to choose earlier version. You must install premiere pro CS6 which include Encore. You can uninstall premiere CS6 after, and just let the Encore be left on the harddrive.

I think Adobe has removed this. Here's what I get. There is no option for Premiere CS6. I do have Premiere CC14 installed and updated. I need Encore!

If you have complete Creative Cloud with all apps you can install previous version of Premiere Pro CS6 + Encore CS6.
But if you have single app membership (only Premiere Pro subscription) you can install ONLY LATEST version of the application and you are not able to activate Premiere Pro CS6 and Encore CS6.

That was not my understanding. Can a staff member confirm this either way?
