How do I remove the linked project location and save a new project in a specific folder?

Previously when creating a new project you could select the project location and the file would sit withing the exact folder that you wanted.

Now (I'm guessing after a recent update) when i select the location and click create, the project is located outside the folder with the project name including the folder name and project name together in one.

Formatted in the way of: FolderName\ProjectName

Is there any way to change the dafault so the created file actually sits within the folder upon creation without me having to keep moving it back in?

That's what I have been doing, but it's just an annoying extra step I'm trying to get rid of.
