It's in the new Properties Panel.

Premiere Pro has a new panel to consolidate your tools. This will reduce clutter in a workspace by providing the tools you need when you need them. Let us know what you think in the comments! Happy to advocate for you. 0:00 Intro 0:05 Overview 0:40 Captions and graphics 1:00 Edit multiple clips at

Use the Snap in Program Monitor feature to align separate images.

I need to align a smaller video within a large frame. It won't let me do that anymore. There is no auto align to center anymore for media files.

To align images in Premiere Pro 2025:

  1. Select the image in the timeline.
  2. Use the Position controls in the Effect Controls panel.
  3. Enable Safe Margins or guides for reference.
  4. Use align tools in the Essential Graphics panel for precision.
I create what you see & hear.

In my experience the allignment tools that are accesible when handling text in Properties, doesn't appear as soon as you want to allign graphics like a png-logo. In Essential Graphics (before 2025 version) the tools were the same for both texts and graphics. To me Properties is a downgrade from Essential Graphics, because I now have to calculate where the center is.

My best workaround tip for centering pngs.

  1. Use the rectangle tool to draw a grey box at the same size as the png.
  2. Open Properties, make sure to select the new shape.
  3. Use the Allignmenttools to place the rectangle in the center.
  4.  If the gray rectangle is on top of the png, move it under on the timeline.
  5.  Select the Png and move it to the position of the rectangle.
  6.  Delete the gray rectangle when the png is in place.
  7.  Let me know if there is a better solution I've missed. 🙂

This is very helpful thank you for sharing. Still it blows my mind why can't we align a simple png like we used to. Why was this option removed Adobe?

Option has not been removed.

Just turn on Snap in Program Monitor and align on the red guides.

You cannot bring in graphics from your bins and drag them over for the align option to show up. You need to bring them in from:

1. Graphics and Titles

2. New Layer

3. Select one of the options, I selected 'From File...' to find my PNG's in my folder

4. Select more than one graphic and the 'Align and Transform' option will show up in the 'Properties' panel

5. Select the 'align' option needed and you should be GTG

That is when you use the Snap in Program feature (those red lines) to align the images.

Dont need to put your png in a graphic clip

Or if they are graphics you can use the blue Guides.

Giving more details is needed ... there are several processes in this thread, so "we" can't be sure what your situation/needs are, and what isn't working for you.
