I used a DSLR and an H4n to record my video and audio. Each take has a separate video clip and a separate audio clip.
Is there a quick way to sync all of my separate audio clips to all of my separate video clips? Or do I have to do it one-by-one?
Here's an example of what my timeline looks like right now, in case that helps:

Any response from this outside the forum? I'm trying to figure out the same thing without going through pluraleyes.

If you have your audio tracks relatively close together...Select Both and use the 'Synchronise' Function from the Clip Menu

Hey, thanks for responding. the problem with mine is that I'm not sure
which video clip matches the audio clips. They are all different lengths!

You will have to sight match them. ie Work out what video and what audio go together.
Dont you have a guide audio track on the video?

PluralEyes 4, which works as a plug-in right inside PP, is probably your best option here.

agreed. Already used up my free trail and its like 600 bucks and im just a
wee little editor without those kind of funds, was hoping to find a work
around. But that is definitely the best way to go about it.

Full price is only $300.
But if it's really off the table, then you've got your work cut out for you.

There are many tried and true ways of "shooting" double system sound and synching up. Unfortunately it starts with planning pre the shoot and managing the process during the shoot.
These include...TC clapper slates, run time time code, simple AV synch marking, gen locking, head marks, tail marks, guide tracks in camera, logging.....
Next time eh

totally. I host a show and hired a crew and had brought up slating and tail
slating to keep everything uniform but couldnt really pay attention when
doing interviews or segments, now its a cluster with different length audio
and video clips and impossible to try and eye ball which goes with wich.
So, time to roll up the sleeves, bathe in red bull and go through clip by
clip!

Hi shainatt,
Thanks for your post.
Is there a quick way to sync all of my separate audio clips to all of my separate video clips?
No, sorry. You can make a feature request here.
Or do I have to do it one-by-one?
Yes. Typically, this work is done one clip at a time with the merge clips function in the Project panel before you edit them into the Timeline. Sync can be detected and matched automatically via audio.
Please return with any questions you have.
Thank you,
Kevin
