Hi all,

I would like to create a custom panel, and dock/embed it into Premiere Pro CC.

Is this something possible?

Basically, the plugin will talk to some web services, retrieve some data, and display them in that panel.

Any idea?

Hi lgw3000,

Yes, you can do that.  Bruce Bullis can help here, although he is en route to IBC so his response may be a bit delayed.

Cheers,

Zac

Hi bbb_999,

How are you? And how is going with IBC?

I have sent you an email earlier, just want to know if it has gone through.

Also, I would like to ask if it is possible to do what I am trying to do with Flex?

Can I use Flex to create plugin?

Thanks.

Best regards,

lgw3000

Strange: I JUST NOW responded to your mail! Yes, you could use Flex, but HTML5 panels have replaced Flex as the recommended approach. Follow the directions in the document I sent, and let me know (directly) if you have questions.

Hi bbb_999,

When I said Flex, I meant Adobe Extension Builder or Creative Suite SDK. (or some other Adobe SDK, sorry, I am new to this)

Best regards,
