Linear wipe transition percent complete jumps at the end

I am using a linear wipe transition in Premiere Pro version 14.0 and the timing of the percent complete doesnt appear to be working correctly. The first half of the transition works correctly, but the last half of the transition happens in the last 4% of the available space. So it is effectively a half linear wipe and then a jump to fill in the rest of the transitioned clip. Is anybody else experiencing an issue like this? I have already tried a new sequence and that didn't help. I have also tried updating to version 14.1 but it is throwing the low level exception due to graphics rendering.

Haven't experienced this, but did you try the "ease in" "ease out" interpolation. See, for example:

Uncheck "Composite in linear color" in the sequnce settings.
