Link Media search--can't define specific location

I'm on the newest version of Premiere.

Used to be that when I had something highlighted in the left pane of the Locate File dialogue, it would just search that location.  But it seems to default to searching everything right now, and I can't narrow it down.

Thoughts?

The feature is not changed. I just tried it in Premiere Pro CC(2017.1.2). Premiere Pro searched for the file in the highlighted folder in the left-hand pane. Please try with a different project & different location.

I've tried with different files and different locations.  Definitely does not work.

We are not able to replicate this issue, please attach a screenshot (of the Locate file window).
