I am asking for help to solve a problem where the image/pucture qualtity drops when adding images to a template. Tried different templates, but with the same result. When adding the picture directly to the timeline, the quality maintains as it should be.

Without knowing a lot more, "we" can only guess. You mention templates ... what do you have? What's the framesize and all?

What's the framesize of the sequence? What is your Scaling option set to in Preferences ... Set to, Scale to, or None?

Without a lot of those details, it's just guessing.

The sequence frame size is 3840 x 2160. I've tried all of the scaling options, with the same outcome.

The templates I've tried so far is ex. "Colourful Dynamic Slides and Titles" and "Poly Changed Screens and Slides". There is almost no info that I can find about the template details. They are downloaded from Adobe Stock.Skjermbilde 2024-05-01 220105.png

Hi @Sindre21993774d02xm,

The templates may be optimized for HD rather than 4K. Can you check out the image quality in an HD sequence and report back with the results? Sorry for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi, I tested setting the sequence settings to 1920 x 1080, but the end result remains the same.

I found some info about the template on the Stock-website

Hi @Sindre21993774d02x,

I received your message. It appears that the template is for an HD sequence and yours is a UHD one. Did you verify the size of the sequence in Sequence > Sequence Settings? Is the playback and paused resolution set to Full? How does it look at 100%? Let us know. Please return with any observations. Sorry for the frustration.  I hope we can help you.

Thanks,
Kevin

I did indeed try to adjust the sequnce settings to HD as well. Paused resolution is set to be full, and playback 1/2. The screenshot from the main post is how it looks at 100%. The left image is how it should look, and the right one is how the outcome is
