Masking (part of the video footage)

New Here ,
Nov 02, 2018 Nov 02, 2018

Someone's hand accidentally came into the side of my footage. I need to set up a mask of that area before that hand came into view. And I need to extend that mask until the end of the video. I'd like to remove the hand from the footage completely.

How can I do this?

I've seen YouTube tutorials where you can move a mask to a different spot in the video. However, I haven't seen any information of masks of the same spot.

Thanks for the help.

Ok mask out the hand when its max in view.

copy/paste the mask path on the still.

Put that over your original footage.

Take a still of the footage before the hand appears.

Mask it with the size of the hand and put that over the original.

This will only work if the footage is stationary.

Please post a screenshot of the situation.

You can also see this Adobe help:

But my opinion is to use After Effects, there are many tutorials on how to delete objects or people.

Luck
