Hello everyone. I'm experiencing a problem: none of the MOGRTs can be controlled through the Properties panel. While I can manage them via the Effects controls, I am unable to replace the media since the Properties panel lacks any controls for the MOGRTs. This feels like a bug to me; everything was working fine a few months ago.
Had the same problem. If you deselect that part in your timeline and use alt + select (windows) that part again, it did work. Hope this helps 🙂

Have you tried resetting your preferences? After the app launches, you can reset it using the Reset button in the Preference Panel. The app needs to be restarted to reset. To restore default preference settings and plug-in cache simultaneously, press hold Shift-Alt (Windows) or Shift-Option (macOS) while the application starts.

Thanks, but that did not help for me

You have to select the layer in the Properties panel. I'd like an option for a single layer graphic instance to start with that layer selected.
This is true for PR created mogrts.
AE created, with restricted parameters, open as previously - with just the properties that are allowed to be edited.
Any way around this?
Stan

Thank you! I was losing my mind trying to figure out what the heck was wrong with my project, almost re-doing it from the ground up, but for some mysterious alt+select actually worked.
It baffles me seeing all the ways Adobe can break basic functionalities of its products and ship it without a blink.

If you're trying to open it on the timeline, it doesn't work. I always have to select a random video in my finder (with the 'replace from finder' and then I can select 'open in timeline' and remove the placeholder and put in whatever videofragment I want. Hope this helps you out 🙂
