MOGRTS Not Working

Participant ,

I've been using the same MOGRT pack that I downloaded from Envato for about a year now. After the latest Premiere release, none of the MOGRTS will load. I get "Motion Graphics Template Import Error. Unknown Error While Loading the Motion Graphics Template". Unfortuantely, I have used these in several projects and now none of them are working. I tried using a different MOGRT from Envato. That did work for a few days, but then it started giving me the same message. Today, I imported yet another MOGRT and it worked, but then I shut down the project and reopened it and it's now not working. After trying several others, it seems the only ones that work are the original ones that come with Premiere Pro. In the meantime, I am going to rebuild the graphics in AE, but has anyone experienced this using CC25? I feel like I can't be the only one. Thanks.

Hi @gened78432486,

Sorry you're running into issues. Could you answer the following:

  • What Premiere Pro version number you are using

  • Operating system and version number

  • What version of Premiere Pro were you using that mogrts were consistently working?
  • Please try the Premiere Pro beta and see if the issue resolves
  • Could you send me a Private message of a zip of a few of the mogrts that you are having trouble with?

Thanks!
Theresa

Adobe Premiere Pro Beta Version 25.2.0 Build 54 (I also have Premiere Pro CC2025 Version 25.1.0 Build 73). Same thing happens on both.

Apple M3 Max- 64GB RAM- Seqoiua 15.1.1

Approximetaly two versions ago of Adobe Premiere CC2025

Beta did not make a difference

I even tried opening the MOGRTS in After Effects and re-exporting, but the same thing happens.

I will send you a private message.

Thanks.

Actually, the last version I think they worked in was the last version of CC2024 that was released. Perhaps 24.6.4 Build 3. I just did a test and teh MOGRTS that are not working now still work fine in that version. Unfortunately for me, this doesn't do me much good because I already did extensive editing in CC2025 where no MOGRTS work.

Hi @gened78432486,

Thanks for the info and sending files over. Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce the issue, so let's see if your temp folders are causing an issue.

Please shut down Premiere Pro and navigate to the following folder:

/private/var/folders/(This folder will vary)/(This folder will vary)/T/com.adobe.ae.cap/Premiere Pro

  1. In your Finder, go to Go
  2. Select 'Go to Folder'
  3. Type in /private/var/folders
  4. Select 9x
  5. There will be a random GuID folder, select it
  6. Select T
  7. Select com.adobe.ae.cap
  8. Select Premiere Pro
  9. Select all of the folders inside and trash them

Let me know if this does or doesn't resolve the issue.

Thanks!
Theresa

@Theresa Rostek I do not have 9x. I have hg, k_, and zz. I did a search in folders and nothing called GUID was found. As an aside, I did a total unistall and reinstall and it worked for a day. Although I did upgrade to the newest Beta this morning so while I wait to hear from you, I will try uninstalling everything again and see if that works. If it does, I will not update the Beta version for awhile.

After I typed out this message, I went to the Creative Cloud app and immediately found this interesting message that I've never seen before (attached). I can't even access the Creative Cloud app now. No matter if I hit "Cancel" or "Continue", the message stays and I can't access anything. Maybe this is a clue. I'm still going to go ahead with the full uninstall and reinstall or PP Beta.
