MOV files are no longer transparent in project

I'm super confused so any help welcome...

I have a project with a lot of MOV. files which when orignally imported where transparent in the project and worked perfectly. I exported the project, sent to client and have some changes to make.

After going onto the project this morning, all my graphic MOV files now have a black background on them and I've no idea what has changed. I have been able to import a new transparent file and it works perfectly, but i'd rather not do this as it means remaking each MOV file and there are about 60 files included.

All help really appreciated. Thank you

Josh

This is in Premiere Pro btw! I've just tried it out on my iMac (rather than my macbook which I'm working on) and it worked fine which makes me think its a premiere pro setting or something with my macbook that is causing this

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

oh, thanks. The only option I saw was a blue button that said post to Adobe Community so I just assumed that was the one

Thanks

Interesting.

What's the Program monitor Transparency option set to? As if you are used to 'show grid' which shows a light background, and that isn't 'on', it will show a black background.

Which isn't video data, but just black because there's nothing 'there'.

These are imported graphics (.mov files) placed on the layer above the video and the area around the .mov is a black box. I'll drop a screenshot below. I updated my Macbook and it's as if that changed everything. When I add new files in, it's fine, it just means I have to do that for over 50 files.

I've also attempted removing the files from the media bin and re-importing but seeminlgy PP recognises it as a non transparent file.
