Multicam Sequence Editing with 2 videos at 1920x1080 and 1 video at 1280x720 with black surround

I am fairly new at this and came across a new issue:

I am using multicam sequence with 3 videos files of an interview I did with someone. Mine is shot at 1920x1080 and a 2-shot of both I downloaded (using Riverside) at also 1920x1080. The 3rd video of the subject i am interviewing was downloaded at 1280x720 which is what their settings were.

When I import all 3 to Premiere, the 1280x720 video has a black border. When I try to scale it, it enlarges all 3 videos. The work around is importing the 1280x720 video separately, scaling it to 1920x1080 when I export it.

Is there a simpler way to fix the size issues when I import all 3 into Premiere?

How did you try to scale it? Try using the inbuilt motion effect in the effects control panel for the smaller videos.

To adjust the 1280x720 clip to match the size of the other clips, load the multi-camera source sequence in the Timeline by right-clicking it in the Project panel and choosing Open in Timeline. This will display all the video tracks.

Once you have it open, select the 1280x720 clip and scale it up to match the 1920x1080 size of the other clips. This change will carry through to wherever the multi-camera source sequence is used.
