part of text hidden

So I am attempting to have two seperate lines of text that are each animated via keyframes. For some reason, the bottom line of text (should be pretty much identical) is covered by part of my motion graphics template. It's a bit difficult to explain so let me just add a photo:mission pic.png

Note that the bottom line was simply copied and pasted from the top line, then the location, text, and size were changed. I've tried everything I can think of to fix it and it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Nevermind, I found the solution, it was using the scale effect as opposed to using the scaling tool in the text controls as detailed in this article.

Thanks for the help, while I did already know that it could be useful information for someone else who finds this post later.

I did try that, it did fix playback issues such as stuttering footage, however it did not fix the overarching issue, which is that the bottom line of text is partially obscured by the motion graphics template that is behind it. The issue is that the entire line of text needs to be visible and I do not know how to reveal it. If you know how to fix this issue I would appreciate any help.
