Plane to sphere distorts titles and images

So I'm trying to edit in the new VR mode with a stereoscopic camera.

It works alright but when I try to add titles and images, they distort when I ad the plane to sphere option. Like the text follows the curve of the sphere.

I just want to add text and images that are straight when viewed in 3d. Like a title next to a person with titles and stuff like that. I want it to hover next to the person and be straight. Like a sign. As it it for me now, I get a curve on everything.

What am I doing wrong?

Can anyone post the answer to this?  The link I see in the "correct answer" doesn't go to a forum discussion any more.

Thanks

Hello @Stephen22087588m6vf,

That link was added to User Voice as a bug report five years ago, so that bug might still exist. Not sure, though, so the community would need to test. If you can, please supply any sample files so we can try it out. You can also check out this tutorial for operational advice: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/how-to/360-video-effects-vr-plane-sphere.html

Hope the advice helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks, Kevin -

I did view the videos about plane-to-sphere, but they haven't addressed anything like what I'm trying to work out.  I'll see if I can post an example...
