Hi,
I have an issue with Premiere Pro. After using the play button for a couple of times, the play button stops working and I can no longer see video, play a video in the source screen or play the timeline. When I restart Premiere Pro it works for a couple of times and then stops working for a couple of times again.
I tried the sollutions that were suggested here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/premiere-pro-video-not-playing-in-source-mon...
I also tried to change the audio hardware, but both sollutions are not working for me.
I don't want to restart hundreds of times within building one video. Is there another way to fix this issue?
Thanks!
Download the 25.2 Beta (b.102), import similar footage, and see if your issues subside. Let me know, @Ryan34977683n2zb, @Brittany35680919qgpp @alexm44078105, and @Leah35239951sllc! I hope the test works.
Thanks,
Kevin

I am having the same issue, and it's very frustrating.
Ryzen 9 9950X
128GB
RTX5090 latest Studio drivers
I have tried running Premiere 2025 with a clear desktop, i.e. on startup without loading ANYTHING else.
Sometimes, I can get through a few clips I am trying to make subclips of, before the SPACE-TO-PLAY functionality fails, either while playing, or prevents me from playing. I can't scrub, so the actual controls are failing, as well. At one point, a clip had been playing, but the display froze, while the sound continued to play. Adobe: Please fix this already. I've seen other threads going back a few years, of similar issues, where keys stop working. Resetting the layout does nothing. Restarting Premiere only works for a short time. Sometimes, Premiere also freezes on exiting.
As a developer (40 years at major companies), this is frustrating, I can work with your engineering team to figure out what is happening though, if your QAs cannot recreate.
